Museum Of Heimatstub'n At Wolfsberg Garana

The Museum of Heimatstub'n to Wolfsberg was founded in 2006, with the intention to preserve the tradition and way of life of the community. Here you can experience a blend of old and new, using the slogan "how we used to live - how we live in today." This exhibition shows the modest life and the livelihood of the people of the past.

The transition from old to new is marked by guesthouse "Sunshine", which was recently opened for lovers of nature.

All year round you can escape from the everyday stress and simply relax your mind. Relaxation, rest, fresh air, beautiful views and the care of old traditions await you!

During guided tours (in German and Romanian languages) you will learn about Wolfsberg’s history, the German influence, and the traditional style of living in this remote mountain town. Walk through an actual stable and barn and learn how a typical farm was managed in those days. The old tools show evidence of the heavy and exhausting work.
