Csókás-Spa Cernat

In the forest of Felsőcsernáton, (Cernatul de Sus) extending to the north, in the valley of Nagypatak stream, 2-3 kilometres away from the Ika castle. A 10x4 metres bathing pool was functioning there many years ago, between the two world was, under the name of Csókás-feredő (Csókás-Spa). The bathing pool was renovated in the summer of 2012, as part of the cooperative work movement for community and bath building of Szeklerland. The spring water has been used for ancient times to cure articular diseases, locomotor disorder, vascular diseases (after the acute inflammation stage). It is especially recommended for those with backaches. As a drinking cure it is suggested for gastrointestinal disorders, indigestion, hangover, urinary disorders, against uric acid kidney stones, for liver- and bile diseases.
