The Neologist Synagogue Cluj-Napoca

The Neologist Synagogue, located on Horea Street, is an architectural monument of the end of the 19th century, being erected between the years 1886-1887 having specific items specific to the Moorish style such as the façade and the four spires.

During the interwar period and during World War II, the synagogue was damaged, but after the Second World War, it was restored, and outside the church two commemorative plaques were erected. It is now known as the “Deportees Temple”.
