At the feet of Egyeskő there is a hikers' hut, situated on 1504 m. The hut was constructed by the Transylvanian Carpathian Society, its official opening was held on the 14th of August, 1932. The building has been extended a few times since then, but its condition continuously deteriorated. By the year 2010, a complete reconstruction of the hut became necessary. Since 2011 the new hut offers two heated sleeping rooms on the ground floor, with altogether 16-18 beds. In addition, there are 10-15 places on matrasses on the upper floor (not heated, but fine with sleeping bags, even in the winter). The ground floor has a heated dining room with two long tables and wooden seats for about 20 people. A separate room is reserved for the mountain rescue team. Warm water is supplied by the newly installed solar collector system. Accommodation costs 20 RON/person/night. Hot and cold food, as well as alcoholic beverages can be purchased in the hut.
