Postavaru Mountains Sinaia

Limits: North – Braşov depression, East  Valley, South  Valley, West  Poienii Valley, Lungă Valley and Sticlăriei. Valley– Timiş– Cheii–

15 km south from Braşov lays the landscape reserve Postăvarul, 1025 ha area, dating from 1980.

A large range of plant and animal species are preserved in the area, as well as the wild landscape, hot affected by human influence.

In the middle of the reserve, covering 150 ha, there lies Poiana Braşov resort.

Maximum altitude of 1799 m in Postăvaru. Within a small area they display a great variety of relief forms, with numerous contrasts: large plateaus and gentle slopes, excellent for easy walks, as well as steep peaks with abrupt faces, with difficult trails and well known ski-runs. Peak

Râşnovului Gorges: in the southern side of the massif, 250 m long, with abrupt walls 160-170 m high, crossed by numerous spectacular climbing routes.

Peşterea de Lapte (Milk Cave): altitude of 1350 m, 175 m long, 10 difference of level.

Poiana Secuilor: flora reserve, close to the chalet with the same name.
