Presentation - Turda Franciscan Church Turda

The church on Avram Iancu Street, no. 49 was built in 1735, and in 1737 the monastic complex was consecrated dedicated to St. King Ladislau.

The planimetry is specific to the architecture of the Franciscan order from Transylvania, the church of the Franciscan monastery being a simplified form of the church in Dej. The liturgical furnishings date from the 18th and 19th centuries, and the altar is fully adorned, thus, we can identify elements of the late-Baroque. Currently the church serves the Roman Catholic community.
