General informations - Malnas Bai

It is a commune centre situated in the upper part of the River Olt's valley, between the Baraolt and Bodoc Mountains, along the E 575 (DN-12) high road. It has a railway station on the Szekler circle railway. It lies at a distance of 17 kms from Sfm-tu Gheorghe. The commune consists of Malnas, Malnas Bai (3 kms from it) and Valea Zalanului. The latter one is situated isolated in the heart of the Baraolt Mountains, 10 kms far from the commune centre, it can be approached only through Batanii Mari.
